Permission to Soar

Today was amazing – in every sense of the word.  I was so far out of my comfort zone – and exactly where I was meant to be.  I felt grounded and strong – and SO ready.

Last fall, I completed a course with Jen Sincero – author of You are a Badass (highly recommend!) and the topic was goal setting.  Goal setting is something I know a lot about – I feel confident and well-versed in that area -- and, yet – I had this soul-tugging pull to enroll...

Now, I know why.

During the course, I reached out to my trusted friend/mentor/coach/birthday twin, Kelsey, to see if she knew of anyone that could help me navigate the tech world.   What I wanted - help building a website – my goal for the Sincero course.

Kelsey has helped me to work through MANY blocks over the past two years.  She’s for sure a soul sister – and it’s no coincidence that she connected me to Amber.

Together we are a force.

To be surrounded by such powerful, soul-driven women… in a way, it feels like home.

In the last four months, here’s what I’ve learned -

~  When we are brave enough to ask for help, we give ourselves permission to SOAR.  ~

I needed help building a website – yes (and that’s coming soon!!).  AND.  I needed permission to get out of my own way.  To step in to my TRUE SELF.  I needed permission to break free from my safe box – to go after my BIG DREAMS.

And.  There is no shame in asking for help.  I didn’t get to the top of the podium in Sydney by going it alone – I had a tribe behind me then – just like I do now.

As I take flight on this next chapter – I am proud to be surrounded by such strength.  Feeling so incredibly grateful tonight.

~
When you are still – where are your soul-tugging pulls telling you?  If you follow them, you’ll find magic.
